My design influences are steeped in my personal experiences of growing up in the deep cultural foundation of Saudi Arabia combined with my exposure to other cultures from living and traveling outside of my country. I combine a fusion of East and west which draws on the best of both traditions but is interpreted in a fresh, and modern way. This is evidenced in the movement in my work and in the selection of colors and materials, such as glass and stone. I believe my work is emblematic of the emergence of the power of young women in the Middle East full of hope and expectation for the future. I am an internationalist in that I am as comfortable camping under the desert stars as I am on the fashion streets of Milan or the rising towers of Miami. I like to think of my style as simply unique.
