BOQ is a shortcut for Bill of Quantities, which is a statement of materials used in the project with details. It is prepared by cost estimator Which contains the following data,

· Item name

· Item description

· Unit

· Quantity

· Unit Price

· Total Value

It’s importance

The importance of the BOQ in the following

· Know the required quantities of each item accurately.

· Knowing the customer of the estimated cost and quantity of raw materials required for the project.

· Collecting quantities of similar items in different places for the same project.

· Guide the client to the best suppliers.

BOQ preparation in interior design clarifies our need for furniture, lighting, accessories and materials and thus helps in estimating the final costs of the project and saves time, money and effort.
